Investor Reliance adds IT-Concern from Gorinchem to its portfolio

Reliance, part of Böschen IT Investments, expands its portfolio with the acquisition of IT-Concern, a Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Gorinchem.

The IT services company focuses on the upper segment of the SME market. This transaction marks another milestone for Reliance, which has already acquired several MSPs under the Böschen IT Investments umbrella. With this latest addition, Reliance further strengthens its position in the SME+ segment. The deal was facilitated in collaboration with Marktlink.

Founded in 2008, IT-Concern is a well-respected player in the Dutch ICT services market and currently employs around 25 professionals. From a strategic standpoint, founder Koos Manschot decided that joining a broader group of IT service providers was the best way to ensure long-term quality, continuity and perspective for both staff and clients. Preserving the company’s identity, market approach and autonomy played a key role in the decision to join Reliance.

Growing Together: Koos Manschot will remain with the organisation following the transaction, continuing the company’s growth journey in partnership with Reliance. “The identity of the company will be preserved,” says Kevin Philippen of Reliance. “Integrating IT-Concern into the Reliance group creates opportunities for sharing knowledge and expertise across the group’s various subsidiaries, enabling mutual reinforcement. Reliance is a growing collective of IT Managed Service Providers, where each member contributes unique expertise to strengthen the overall alliance. Every company in the group is committed to delivering high-quality, future-proof IT services.”

Dave Kooij, consultant at Marktlink, adds: “Thanks to the efficient collaboration between both parties, this deal came together quickly. Reliance will primarily support IT-Concern with HR, finance and recruitment, allowing the company to sharpen its focus on its core business.”
